Nichole Patrick Shaw

Nicole Patrick -Shaw has had a keen interest in Cultural Resource Management and the role that these entities have in preserving and protecting our cultural norms, values and mores.  She traces her interest in heritage education to her exposure to cultural events and festivals at an early age.

Mrs. Patrick-Shaw’s first accomplishment in her field of study was the Gladwyn Turbutt Award for Archaeological Research (BA) in 2000. This was awarded for her Thesis Paper on Micro faunal and Micro botanical Study of Green Castle, St. Mary. These initiatives focused on improving the social & psychological wellness and educational levels of the participants.

During her tenure at Liberty Hall she completed her MSc in Public Administration. Her thesis was on Government’s initiative to preserve historic monuments, a capacity-building Technique: the Case of Liberty Hall.
