Joshua Chamberlain

Joshua Chamberlain co-founded The March for Music Education with the goal of making music education sustainable. He has worked in administration, development and communication capacities with the music programmes at Alpha Boys School, The Alpha Institute, Alpha Boys School Radio and more recently the Alpha School of Music. Chamberlain received a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of the West Indies, Mona where his thesis explored the relationship between cultural participation and civic engagement with a focus on Kingston’s sound system community.
